Lamar Odom opens eyes

Lamar Odom has made progress with his health since waking up from a three-day coma in October but a new report says he will not be heading out of the hospital any time soon.

The 36-year-old sportsman is still trying hard to get back on his feet and construct full sentences one month after he was found unconscious in a Las Vegas, Nevada brothel on October 13.

"Lamar has made some progress, but his cognitive impairment is making life very challenging,” an insider told People magazine regarding Lamar’s status.

They also shared that he is not able to walk without assistance, he can barely speak, and will more than likely need 24/7 help once he is finally released.

As for his financial situation? That’s not good, either. "Lamar won’t likely leave the hospital for a long time,” says another source. “And when he does, he will need full time care. He can’t take care of himself.

The former NBA star may be tough, but that doesn’t mean that Lamar Odom is invincible. Even though he survived his terrifying near-death experience with estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, 31, by his side, Lamar is still having trouble recovering from the entire ordeal.
