This organization has been in operation since 2008, focused on using performing arts as a tool for youth employment and engagement in Nigeria. Street Project Foundation also recently joined the All Stars Project INC Alliance in New York, United States of America.From April to May 2016, Street Project Foundation embarked on a three-week Creative Youth Boot Camp for one hundred (100) young people from ages 16 to 25 years, after which they commenced internship and mentoring programmes. Today, about thirty-seven (37) of them have started their own creative business, secured jobs in the creative industry or commenced a University degree.
In furtherance of this project, Street Project has secured yet again the support of the United States Consulate to execute the second edition of the Creative Youth Boot Camp scheduled to take place from April 24 to May 13, 2017. Registration for this initiative opens on Monday, 21st November 2016.
Only talented young people from ages 16 to 25years from low-income backgrounds qualify.
