Loose and comfortable defines the Kimono,usually found in long, short or midi in different fabrics and style. But our love for Kimono tripled over the weekend when we got this refreshing Kimono looks from fashion stylist and designer Omosalewa Akindolire.
She designed chic Kimonos in Silk and Chiffon ‘perfect for the Nigerian weather’ she said. When we prompted why the celebrity stylist chose the Kimono trend, she told us she needed to create "something stylish, with a mind blowing effect that is practical" so she chose the ever-in Kimono; "I chose to make them strictly in Chiffon and Silk because of the unfriendly Nigerian weather that doesn’t allow for wearing coats/macs!"
Our favourite way to rock this uber stylish trend is to throw it over a fitted tee and jeans, we love the gorgeous drape and silhouette it gives.
