In terms of fabrics, tweed is the most durable of them all. It can also withstand wind and water and comes in a number of varieties.

First, it’s important to note the four kinds we have: there’s plain tweed, woven into a twill design and is the easiest to wear. Next, herringbone tweed, which has a distinctive V-shaped pattern, with rich visual texture and versatility.

Also, there’s houndstooth tweed, which is known for its bold broken check design and overcheck tweed known for large windowpane checks.
