Drawing inspiration from Jake Gyllenhaal, who never goes wrong in a suit, here are three tips for wearing a simple suit that will never go out of style:

1) Do Gray: When you pair a gray tie with a grey suit, especially a tie that has a little more texture than the suit, you’ll look neat with being too plain.

2) Get that Peak: A suit with a peak lapel is already quite powerful without including a patterned shirt, printed tie and crazy pocket square.

3) Stay grounded: It’s not that you always have to do the white collar shirt to keep things simple. For example, pairing a pale blue spread collar shirt won't take away from a navy suit and tie combo and won't make you look like you’re running for senate.
