George, Amal Clooney serve intense glamour at movie premiere
The 69th annual Cannes Film Festival started with intense glamour on Wednesday evening. However, Hollywood royalty, George Clooney and wife, Amal took it up a notch on Thursday night.

The Cannes Festival (English for Festival de Cannes),formerly known as International Film Festival, was renamed in 2002. The Cannes Film Festival, is an annual film festival held in Cannes, France, which previews new films of all genres, including documentaries, from around the world.
The invitation-only festival, which is held annually, usually in May, at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, saw George and Amal looking like the Hollywood power couple they are known as. Amal seemed to struggle a little bit in her flowy yellow Atelier Versace gown with a high slit, while George looked dapper in a black tuxedo.
