It was a complete display of awesomeness, creative minds, beauty, good music and crazy people under one roof.

Taruwa which began 8 years ago, gave life to the rise of popular household names like Bez, M.I, Jesse Jagz, Aramide, Femi Leye, Titi and a host of others and still growing stronger day by day, held its monthly gathering in celebration of the newest milestone at Bogobiri, Ikoyi, Lagos on Tuesday 25 August, 2015.

Bogobiri the usual venue was packed full as lovers of art, poetry, music and dance came together to celebrate and showcase what they got.

Talents like Bez, Femi Leye and the Eclipse Band, Isaac Geralds, Omoye, Omode, Damola, Frank Donga, Soonest, Peter, Lala and many others took to the stage and entertained the crowd in their own special way.

The Miss Taruwa 2015 pageant held once again with the past winners Wana 2013, Lala 2014 sharing their experiences as Queens and crowing the new Queen after a very close battle between Omoye and Adenike Oyetunde with Adenike emerging as winner after promising to provide A/c and free drinks for everyone during her reign as queen of Taruwa 2015.

Bez also took time before his performance to pray for the brain behind the gathering Lydia Idakula who has been making sure the gathering holds every year before he performed. The celebration cake was cut after Frank Donga asked everyone to spell TARUWA.
