2Baba and Sir Victor Uwaifo organise first live in concert this Sunday

Fans of pop icon, 2 Baba and legendary musician, Sir Victor Uwaifo are in for a swell time this Sunday as the two legendary acts have teamed up to organize the first ever Live-in-Concert, themed ‘Eargasm’.

The concert which will hold at This Day Dome in Abuja, will also feature legendary reggae act, Daniel Wilson, popularly called Mr Raggamuffin, Sunny Nneji, EME songstress, Niyola, Dammy Krane, Yung 6ix and Queen Moda.

According to 2face Idibia, he holds the concert dear to his heart because of the opportunity it will afford him to further display his dexterity, ‘I’m really excited about the concert and cant wait for it to happen. Performing on stage with Sir Victor Uwaifo is like a dream come true for me’, he said.

Sir Uwaifo on his part has assured his fans of an exciting time at the event, ‘It’s going to be an exciting time at the concert. I have been rehearsing for a while now and I just cant wait to show everybody what I can still do even in my mid seventies’.

The show according to Efe Omoregbe, one of the organizers, was inspired out of the need to treat fans from diverse generations to an exciting night with a unique blend of classic African music. He says,

‘We thought to create an opportunity for lovers of good music to come out and network while still enjoying great music from these amazing talents. It’s going to be a great show because it will have these amazing music talents perform not only their songs but also songs of other popular acts as demanded by their fans, so we can have 2face performing a song by Timi Dakolo or Sir Victor making a jazz version of KSA’s songs’ he said.
