The National University Commission (NUC), has accredited 11 programmes in Lagos State University, LASU.

11 out of 20 postgraduate and undergraduate academic programmes of the Lagos State University has been accredited
According to Vanguard reports, the NUC accredited 11 out of 20 postgraduate and undergraduate academic programmes in the institution.
This is contained in the institution’s official bulletin released on Wednesday in Lagos.
NUC reportedly carried out the exercise in October 2014 and June 2015 respectively.
The bulletin said that the Commission had granted Law, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Theatre Art, Music, Physiology, Physical and Health Education full accreditation.
It was also disclosed that terminal and academic masters of Business Administration, Human Resources and Personnel Management and Public Administration were also accredited.
The courses that were not accredited are, Masters of Public Administration, Business Administration, English, French, Philosophy and Yoruba.
Programmes like Insurance, Electronics, Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are still being considered.
