The Senate, on Wednesday, March 2, made big changes to the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) policies.
Senate extends result validity period to 3 years, reduces UTME fees
The senate also approved the policy which stated that the change of institution, course form and other incidental activities around the exam should be free.

These resolutions were taken following the adoption of the report of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund on the inquiry into the new admission policy of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
