Get Ready To Be Wowed As NSFDW Season 2 Saunters In

If you are one of those who find the fashion world fascinating, then you better get ready to be wowed in the Season 2 of the much anticipated Nigerian Student Fashion and Design Week.

Aptly named the 'Biggest Student Fashion Week in Nigeria', NFSDW Season 2 will hold from Thursday June 5th to Friday June 6th at the Indoor Sports Hall, University of Lagos.

The best of the present and future of Nigerian fashion industry will be on display.

"NSFDW will see to the exhibition of collections from various emerging designers.

The designers are majorly student entrepreneurs and self-employed entrepreneurs who are ready to take their businesses and dreams to the next level by showcasing their designs at the biggest, suffice to say best platform in the country," the organisers say.

And, it promises to be a big one!

"The fashion week is expected to be attended by fashionistas from within and outside the country alongside special celebrity appearances from Uti Nwachukwu, Yemi Alade, Dj switch, Chocolate city crew, amongst others," a press release by the organisers stated.

Student Pulse spoke to the Founder of NSFDW, Abiola Orimolade.

Orimolade who is a member of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, said all is set to get the fashion fest going.

"We are prepared and ready for the 2nd edition of Nigerian Student Fashion And Design Week. The Lord has been so merciful unto us and he has also blessed us with a good team," he said.

The event will be hosted by Larry Foreman of Wazobia Tv, Yemi Obamedo of Ynaija and Didi and attendance is free.

NSFDW is organised by BlackNBold Fashion House in collaboration with Africa Fashion Week London team and Mahogany Productions and Events.
