4 cultists arrested with pistol, bullets as police foil cult war

Police in Abia State have prevent a bloody confrontation between members of the Vikings and Ayez cult groups in the Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, with the arrest of four armed cultists.

According to a Daily Times report, the four suspected cultists, all students of the polytechnic were nabbed with a locally made pistol and bullets.

The suspects were identified as a 21-year-old statistics student, Umahi Emeka Titus; a 25-year-old Higher National Diploma (HND) I Accounting student, Obiyor Darlington Chinonso; a 28-years-old HND I Computer Science student, Molongwa Jesus Agustin; and a 28-year-old Computer Science, Ochoma MacDonald.

gathered that Titus, Chinonso and Agustin are Vikings while MacDonald is a member of the Ayez secret cult.

Titus was the one in possession of the pistol and live cartridge.

All the suspects are reported to have make confessional statement and are helping the police identify other cultists.

Cultism among Nigerian students is at an all-time high with police making arrests almost every week.
