One of the wives of the leader of extremist group, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, has been arrested near the border of Syria by Lebanese army.
Wife of terror group leader arrested in Lebanon
Lebanese security authorities have revealed that they have arrested one of the wives of ISIS leader, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi. She was caught near the border of Syria with a child of the militant chief.
The woman, believed to be hairdresser Saja Hamid al-Dulaimi, was reportedly using a false passport when she was caught 10-days ago. According to reports from foreign media, senior Lebanese security officials described her as “one of the wives” of the ISIS terror chief.
Saja Hamid al-Dulaimi also was caught travelling with a child who after DNA tests has been confirmed as the son of the ISIS chief.
The woman is being questioned at the headquarters of the Lebanese defence ministry in Yarze, according to several reports.
Saja Hamid Al-Dulaimi has been reported to be one of the wives of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi although it is not known how many wives the militant has. Al-Dulaimi has three children for the ISIS leader.
According to the Al-Arabiya news , her father Ibrahim Dulaimi was a so-called ISIS "emir" in Syria who was reportedly killed in September 2013 during an operation against the Syrian army. While her sister, Duaa, was also allegedly behind a suicide attack that targeted a Kurdish gathering in the Irbil.
