The Chief Imam of Warri Central Mosque, Abdul Rasheed Ajisafe, has explained that true Muslims are not members of the terrorist sect, Boko Haram, adding that the teaching in the Holy Quran, just like the Holy Bible is based on love and peaceful co-existence.

Imam Ajisafe stated this during the commissioning of Ekakpamre Central Mosque in Ekakpamre, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

He said that just as Christians believe in Jesus Christ, so do Muslims believe in the teachings of Prophet Mohammed, stating that both religions believe in God as the supreme creator who will punish unrepentant sinners.

Commending Mohammed Young Okotie who built and donated the Mosque to Muslims, the Chief Imam thanked Ekakpamre community for providing land where the Mosque was built, praying for their peace and breakthrough.

He also promised that Senior Imams from across the country will soon come to pray for Ekakpamre community.
