Catholic Seminarians Mistaken For Boko Haram Militants In Ogun

The police later discovered the 'bearded men' were actually Catholic seminarians visiting a friend in the community

The Ogun State Police Command on Tuesday discredited rumours of the arrest of some members of Boko Haram sect in the state.

According to Premium Times, some residents of Akute in Ifo local government area, Ogun state had alerted the police on sighting strange faces in their community, the men were bearded and donned white robes.

The police later discovered the bearded men were actually Catholic seminarians visiting a friend in the community.

The police spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, made a statement saying ,
