Ex wife of clergyman reportedly remarries

An article posted on the female pastor's website revealed her new name to be Anita Ebhodaghe Schafer.

Anita, the former wife of Christ Embassy pastor, Chris Oyakhilome has reportedly remarried following the completion of their divorce.

This is based on a recent article she published on her website where her name appeared as Anita Ebhodaghe Schafer.

In a reaction to this, fans of the female Christian leader sent in congratulatory messages in the comments section of the article post.

A site visitor with the name Frau Glauben wrote, “Congratulations Pastor Anita for your new name. We wish you all the best as you begin a new chapter in your life as you have moved on to the glory of God. Old things are passed away, behold all things have become new. It was such a beautiful ceremony. We are so excited for you and your family. We Rejoice with you, Pastor Anita Schafer. God bless you Ma.”

The divorcee, who was formerly known as Anita Odegwa Oyakhilomeofficially ended ties with the Christ Embassy founder on February 8, 2016.

A statement given by her representatives, Attwaters Jameson Hill Solicitors dissociated Anita from any connection with her ex husband's church.

“We have been requested by Anita Oyakhilome to confirm that on the 8th February 2016 a decree absolute was pronounced in the High Court of Justice Principal Registry of the Family Division dissolving her marriage to Christian Onehirokpeana Oyakhilome.”

“Anita Oyakhilome would like to confirm that she is no longer involved in or part of Christ Embassy AKA Believers loveworld inc.”

The marriage was dissolved in the United Kingdom at the High Court of Justice Principal Registry of the Family Division.
