Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has set up a committee to probe the administration of his predecessor, Rotimi Amaechi.
Governor sets up committee to probe Amaechi
Wike inaugurated the judicial panel on Friday, June 19, 2015, in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

The governor had earlier accused Amaechi and his officials of leaving the state treasury empty and stripping the government house of valuables.
Amaechi however denied the allegations and said that a probe of his administration would amount to a witch-hunt.
Meanwhile, Wike has expressed optimism that his planned probe of Amaechi would be supported by President Muhammadu Buhari.
