The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Ali Olanusi has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Alhaji Olanusi reportedly made the move from the ruling party to the opposition party, today, March 26.

Olanusi became the Deputy Governor of the State in 2009 as a member of the Labour Party (LP) along with Governor Olusegun Mimiko.

They defected from the LP to the PDP together in October, 2014.

This comes just a few days after the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Tele Ikuru defected from the APC to the PDP.
