The commissioner said that he came to dialogue with the governor and the people of the state on how to ensure security, promising to do his best while in the state.

Adeleye spoke during a courtesy visit to Gov. Abiola Ajimobi in his office at Agodi Secretariat on Tuesday.
"I am of the opinion that community policing should be introduced in this state so that criminality can be stamped out," he said.

Responding, Ajimobi promised total support for the new commissioner in order to ensure security in the state.
"You are welcome to the state and I want to assure you that this administration will give you all the needed support to succeed in office."
"If we want to ensure total security, we must give priority to human capital development as well as provision of food and job opportunities," he said.
