Former NBA president Idowu Sofola dies at 84
The deceased was the first black to be appointed Secretary of the International Bar Association.

Sofola was said to have died at his Lagos residence at about 8.00pm on Friday, March 23, 2018.
He was 84 years old.
Sofola, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) will be buried in Ikenne, Ogun State on Saturday, March 24.

The deceased had also served as the Chairman, Nigerian Body of Benches and he was the first black to be appointed Secretary of the International Bar Association.
