Lassa Fever Undergraduate, 18 others isolated in Ogun

The Ogun State Government has said it has isolated a female student of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (UNAAB) and 18 others who are suspected to be infected with the Lassa Fever virus.

This was disclosed today, Tuesday, January 26.

In the same vein, three people have been confirmed positive to the virus in Lagos State while a 53-year-old woman died from the disease on Monday in Akwa-Ibom.

So far, the disease has claimed over 60 lives in Nigeria.
