Lynda Carter cast as POTUS in season 2

"Wonder Woman" Lynda Carter will recur in Season two of "Supergirl" as the President of the United States.

Lynda Carter joins Supergirl

To play the role of the President of the United States, Carter will make her first appearance in the third episode of the show’s second season.

"Supergirl" stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El, who escapes the destruction on Krypton to join her cousin on Earth, while "The Flash" tells the story of Barry Allen, whose life changed completely when his mother died in a freak accident and his innocent father was convicted of her murder.

The show also stars Mehcad Brooks, Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Faran Tahir, Dean Cain and Helen Slater.

DC Entertainment recently revealed that "Teen Wolf" actor Tyler Hoechlin, will play Superman in the CW series.
