Sequel gets an official title

Ridley Scott plans 3 more 'Prometheus' sequels, and he has revealed the title of the first.

Ridley Scott who recently confirmed that there would be three sequels to his  2012 Alien pseudo-prequel 'Prometheus,' has revealed the title for the first.

Scott revealed the title as 'Alien: Paradise Lost' in a promotional interview for his upcoming film undefinedwith HeyUGuys.

"Well actually, really it’s going to be Alien: Paradise Lost, so Prometheus 2 is not really going to be — it’s going to be Alien: Paradise Lost now," he said.

The upcoming sequel will return with  Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace reprising their roles as Shaw and android David, respectively.

According to Scott,  'Alien: Paradise Lost,' will eventually get around to explaining the origins of the Alien universe.

The 2012 Prometheus earned slightly over $400 million globally. 'Alien: Paradise Lost'is currently slated for a 2017 release.

Scott's upcoming movie alongside others, and is slated for an 'October 2' release.
