Jaden Smith's 'Karate Kid' Will Have A Sequel

Sony has confirmed a director has been found!

Will Smith's son, Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan will be back in a "Karate Kid" sequel because Sony Pictures says so.

Sony has found famed movie maker, Breck Eisner to direct the sequel to the 2010 remake.

It should be noted that the rebooted "Karate Kid" grossed $343 million worldwide with Harald Zwart directing, and Jaden's parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith producing alongside Jerry Weintraub, James Lassiter and Ken Stovitz.

Eisner's credits include "Sahara" and "The Crazies." He's also attached to Summit's fantasy-actioner "The Last Witch Hunter," starring Vin Diesel.
