Today, May 22, 2017, is the actor's birthday, and to celebrate him, Pulse Nigeria has put together five must-watch movies  of the talented actor.

1. "Mummy Dearest"

The movie which stars the actor as Chijoke tells the story of a mother, who tries to stay connected to her kids.

Her only son,Chijioke is busy with life,work and friends and does not respond to her efforts to keep in touch.

Chijioke later embark on a journey of reconciliation when his colleague at the office losses his mum.

2. "76"

Daniel K Daniel as Corporal Obi in the historical drama is perfect.

The movie follows the story of a young officer, who gets entangled in a romantic relationship with a beautiful O-Level student from the Southeastern part of Nigeria.

Their budding romance was almost ruptured by endless military postings. Now heavily pregnant, her walls came crumbling when the news of her husband's involvement in a botched coup attempt hits the headlines.

"Oloibiri" dramatizes the plight of a historic community, which stands for every other degraded oil mining community in Nigeria and asks the question "who is to blame?'

The oil multinationals, the government or the 'influential' indigenes of the community?

The movie features the actor as Lieutenant Yisa.

4. "A Soldier's Story"

The movie stars the actor as Bossman, and celebrates Nigerian heroic soldiers and their contributions to the country.

His role in the movie earned him an Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards  best actor win in 2016.

In "Hell or High Water," Kelechi (Daniel K Daniel) and his lover represent hundreds of homosexuals in Nigerians, who, out of the fear of  becoming second-class citizens, bullied, excommunicated from church or even killed, marry a wife for appearances.

The story explores the reality of sexuality amidst spirituality and family.
