"The experience has been wonderful" says actor on going back to school

Quadri who is now an undergraduate at the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) says it feels wonderful studying Theatre Arts at the higher institution.

Yinka Quadri, the 55-year-old veteran actor has spoken about how it feels like going back to school.

"To say the truth, the experience has been wonderful, and I am very happy about it" Yinka Quadri told Encomium Weekly.

Yinka Quadri along with other Yoruba movie veterans, Prince Jide Kosoko, Toyosi Adesanya, Fathia Balogun, Sola Kosoko, and others are Diploma students of Theatre Arts at OOU.

The thespian stated that going back to school has helped him improve his English, and is positive that he will learn more things by the time he graduates. "Within the very short period I have been in the school, I have gained a lot. Even in this theatre practice which we believe we are among the pioneers, I have been able to learn more, especially English. I have improved myself. Going back to school has really helped me. And by the time I graduate, I believe I should have learnt more and become better."

The Yoruba movie titan also disclosed that going to school hasn't affected him greatly from starring in movies.

When he revealed that he was going back to school in January, Yinka Quadri said "I feel very elated and happy about it.  At 55, I feel very excited going back to school."
