The actress' representative revealed that she had sustained injuries following an accident involving a horse. She was reported to have broken some bones.
This was confirmed by her representative on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, who told Page Six, about the incident in a press statement.
The rep said, "Uma was in an equestrian accident,"
"She was training on a young thoroughbred who got spooked. She was thrown and broke a few bones."
There are no reports concerning if Thurman’s upcoming movies, The Bay of Silence and The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, which are in preproduction stages, will be affected due to her injuries.
