Ikponwonsa Osakioduwa was born on May 21, 1979, to the family of Brigade General Samuel Oviawe and Sandra Oviawe in Lagos, Nigeria. IK started acting as a child in school dramas and by the time he graduated from Kings College in Lagos, it was certain he was going to be in the entertainment industry.
IK Osakioduwa gained admission to University of Lagos where he studied Economics. While in the university, he took part in many stage plays and concerts, where he discovered and groomed his talent as a Master of Ceremonies/Host. After graduating from University in 2001, Osakioduwa worked for Rhythm 93.7 FM, as a presenter popularly known as 'The Wild Child' (thanks to his humorous and unpredictable personality).
However, in compliance with the National Youth Service Corps, which is a one-year mandatory service of all graduate Nigerians, he had to leave the radio station to serve in a neighbouring state. He also worked in an advertising firm as a Client Service Executive, and in 2005 he returned to the radio station, Rhythm 93.7, and retained the name The Wild Child.
IK Osakioduwa's biggest break was when he became the host of Africa's biggest reality television show 'Big BrotherAfrica.' He took over the show and made it his own and showed his media prowess.
It doesn't end there, the tall chap has also hosted a number of notable award events including the Africa Magic Viewers Chioce Awards which he has hosted consecutively since the inception of the awards.
Unfortunately for the single ladies still crushing on this handsome chap, he is married to Olohi Osakioduwa and they are blessed with two lovely children. So ladies just in case you still want to give it try and probably face the wrath of his gorgeous wife, slide into his DM and say "you just want to know which channel shows Big Brother Africa."
