Medical Mistake Reportedly Killed Joan Rivers

A doctor performed an unplanned biopsy on her vocal cords at a clinic, a procedure which is not supposed to be performed outside of a hospital.

New reports show that Joan Rivers may have been killed.

According to nydailypost, a doctor performed an unplanned biopsy on her vocal cords at a clinic, a procedure which is not supposed to be performed outside of a hospital, according to medical experts.

A source told the site, "The Aug. 28 biopsy at Yorkville Endoscopy, an E. 93rd St. clinic that usually only deals with digestive issues, caused Rivers' vocal chords to seize — a condition doctors call a laryngospasm — cutting off her air supply".

Its been registered that if she'd been in a hospital when the surgery happened, she might have survived.

River's doctor reportedly used instruments from the clinic when 'something' was discovered on River's vocal chords.

"That was a no-no", the source blantly stated.

A source claims the E! Fashion Police host had only signed in for an edoscopy - not a surgery - or a biospy for her vocal chords.

However, a spokesperson of the Yorkville stated that, "Yorkville Endoscopy has performed 18,000 procedures since it opened in February 2013. Yorkville Endoscopy has maintained an exceptional safety record that far exceeds the national average."

Joan died last Friday after being in a medically induced coma for a week!
