Aramide, Seyi Law are a year older today

Aramide sings about love, betrayal, friendship, trust, and the attendant joys and aches of womanhood.

Aramide is an award winning Nigerian Afro-Soul/Jazz artiste. She began singing and writing music as a teenager and decided to nurture them.

After secondary school, Aramide learnt to play the saxophone and guitar and is a graduate of Political Science from the UniversityofJos. Her career took off shortly after graduation.

The music star sings about love, betrayal, friendship, trust, and the attendant joys and aches of womanhood. Her musical influences include Erykah Badu, Miriam Makeba, Sade, Angelique Kidjo and other greats.

Born Idileoye Oluwaseyitan Lawrence Aletile, with the stage name Seyi Law, Seyi Law hit the limelight following his success at the AY Open Comedy Mic in 2006. Since then, he's been known as a top comedian in the country as he is always at most events for performance.

He's also got dozens of comedy skits on Youtube. He is also the founder of "I must laugh" show. A lot of people easily identify him with the AY brand.
