Comedian sued for defamation by 3 sexual assault accusers

Though the comedian can not be sued for the series of sexual assault accusations against him, he will however have to face the court over defamation accusations from 3 of the alleged victims.

Three of the women who have accused veteran American comedian, Bill Cosby, of sexual assault, have sued him for defamation.

Tamara Green, Linda Traitz and Therese Serignese have all slammed the comedian with a defamation lawsuit claiming that his alleged lies have ruined their reputations.

According to , Tamara Green first sued Cosby claiming he was untruthful when he denied her sexual assault allegations. The celebrity website have also updated the report, saying that Linda and Therese have joined the lawsuit.

The women cannot sue Bill Cosby for the alleged sexual assault because the statute of limitations ran decades ago, but they think Cosby's subsequent denials have opened the door to a defamation suit.
