Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu has resigned.

Mu’azu is said to have tendered his resignation today, May 20, 2015.

The former Chairman is said to have been left the position due to the harassment he had suffered at the hands of members who blamed him for the PDP’s defeat in the recently held general elections.

His resignation has been confirmed by PDP Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Abdullahi Jalo, and is expected to take effect immediately.
