United States Ambassador to Nigeria, James Entwistle, today, July 14, 2016, failed to appear before the House of Representatives to present evidence on charges of sexual misconduct levelled against three members of the House.

Earlier reports had it that Entwistle would appear before the Ossai Ossai Committee of the House today to provide video evidence connecting the legislators to the crime.

The three lawmakers involved are Mohammed Gololo, Samuel Ikon and Mark Gbillah.

The hearing was also further stalled by the absence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama.

Ossai stated further that the hearing had been postponed to July 20 while expressing the hope that both Onyeama and Entwistle would honour the House’s invitation on the new date.
