President Goodluck Jonathan is set to attend the 47th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government in Accra, Ghana.

The President is expected to leave Nigeria on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, to attend the event.

This was disclosed via a statement released on Monday, May 18, by Jonathan’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati.
The President will be accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aminu Wali and House of Representatives Majority Leader, Mulikat Akande among others.
The President will return to the country after the one-day summit.
