Sequel in the works with Kevin Hart, Ice Cube

The brothers in-law will be back for a third "Ride Along" film with Kevin Hart and Ice Cube.

Lead actors Ice Cube and Kevin Hart will reprise their roles as James Payton and Ben Barber, respectively.

The last movie which stars Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, also stars Ken Jeong, Benjamin Bratt, Olivia Munn, Bruce McGill, Tika Sumpter and  Sherri Shepherd.

The first "Ride Along" movie starred Hart as  security guard Ben, who had to convince James, a veteran cop, that he is worthy of James' sister, Angela.

The films have earned over $278 million at the worldwide box office. The 2014 first film earned $154.5 million, while the 2016 sequel earned $124.2 million worldwide.
