The deceased, identified as Abubakar Sani Mashi, was said to have died at about 11am.
He was reportedly on his way to obtain a pass for medical services at the National Assembly clinic when he slumped.

Medical personnel at the complex tried to revive him but their attempts were unsuccessful.
