Rapper says being relevant is not about making club music

The Syndik8 rapper speaks on his next album, commercial and alternative music in Nigeria, and the acts on his record label.

In an exclusive interview with Pulse TV, rapper Lynxxx has spoken about the misconception people have concerning alternative music in Nigeria.

Speaking about his upcoming album having a non-commercial sound, Lynxxx stated that artistes that do not do mainstream music have a viable, relevant and successful recording career outside the clubs.

"Because your song is not playing in the club doesn't mean you don't have shows'. Because someone is not always in your face, doesn't mean they are faded" said the Syndik8 Records boss.

Lynxxx said he also doesn't want to release any commercial track until he drops his second album which is scheduled to be released at the end of the first quarter.
