The song for the Cuban-French sisters Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Diaz of ancestral Nigerian origin is their way of dealing with the gloomy and dark world they witness around them.
In an email sent to the Fader magazine, the duo both talked about the song concept.
Naomi explained that the song "reflects on a time when Lisa was gazing out her window and thinking about the permanent flow of creation and destruction.”
Lisa-Kaindé on the other hand said: "We are witnesses of the world's craziness (which is sonically symbolized by the sirens in the track) and we wonder if the promises of better days will be kept."
Towards the end of the song, you’d see the pair chanting in Yoruba unto Orisha Aggayu who is a ferryman known for providing strength. Aggayu in nature ignites a violent eruption of volcanos, however, with the intention that the lava ultimately refertilizes the soil to create new life."
