"I envy people that play lead, direct, still interpret their roles well"

Faithia Balogun who won several awards for her movie "Iya Alake," prefers acting to producing movies.

During an exclusive interview, the award-winning actress spoke about choosing acting over producing.

"Na acting o [ it's acting.] Producing is not an easy task. I envy people that play the lead role, direct and still interpret their roles very well. For me, I want to be an actor 100%.

The actress also shared what makes a good film for her. "Your technical should be very perfect," she said. "If you have to do a movie, do it well. Don't say you want to manage. If you have to do any movie, make the technical, the storyline and the actors interpret it well," she added.

In an interview with Pulse Nigeria, the actress had revealed her award winning movie "Iya Alake " is her favourite script. "Sometimes I produce and act in my movie, and I tell myself " this is very stupid.'  But " Iya Alake"  is something I see everyday, and I say to myself ' thumbs up Faithia.,"  she said.

Faithia Balogun is popular for movies like "Farayola ," "Aje metta ," "Aje metta 2 ," "Awawu"  among others.
