Do haters really exist?
Are there people who dedicate their time and energy in hating on celebs? They exist as well as concerned fans and critics.

Some celebrities have made it a serious job to go against their ‘haters’ online. They do this by blasting them back, blocking or muting their accounts. A lot of celebs are on a 24-hour hater hunt.

A lot of energy and time have been dedicated to shaming haters. There are thousands of songs dedicated to them. Despite the man hours put in the hunt of haters some will say they don’t exist. Do they truly? Are there people whose main goal in life is to put down the hard work of others?
Nigerian comedian AY believes so. Today (Wednesday, April 6, 2016) the comedian gave an advice to people who hate on success.
“Why is that some people around you just think you don't deserve most of the things that God has blessed you with?” he started.
“Why do they always look at things at the surface level? How come it's always so easy for them to say you are not worthy of your fame, your popularity, your friends, your career, and other good things of life? Why can't they just pay attention to the hard work you had put in behind the scenes — your sacrifices, your worries, your fears and the pains you’d gone through? When are they going to stop seeing life as some kind of unnecessary competition? When and how would haters deal with their feelings of inadequacy and inferiority? #OnlyGodcanjudge” he also wrote.
So haters do exist. Internet trolls who bash celebrities and hate on their achievements are plenty. However there have been instances where some celebs have confused fans with honest opinions or critics as haters.

Who is a hater? According to Urban Dictionary a hater is “a person that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.”
Yesterday when Drake released his new collaboration with Wizkid some people on Twitter took shots at the Nigerian singer’s achievement. Those are haters.

Critics or fans with honest opinions are people who call celebs out when they make a mistake. There are more than a few celebrities who can’t tell the difference. They feel anyone who criticizes them is a hater. No, this is far from it.
Being famous opens one to all types of shots, some deserved and others not. Success and haters will always go hand in hand but honest feedback is a rarity these days and should be welcomed instead of scorned.
