Bobbi Kristena's ex might be facing murder charges, source reveals

According to the insider, the district attorney in Georgia has allegedly convened a secret grand jury with the intent of charging Gordon with the murder of the late Whitney Houston’s only daughter.

The late Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, may face murder charges, a source reveals to Us Weekly.

According to the insider, the district attorney in Georgia has allegedly convened a secret grand jury with the intent of charging Gordon with the murder of the late Whitney Houston’s only daughter.

The DA does not know what the charges will be yet, but they want to go for murder charges, the source explains, adding that Gordon will be charged with criminal charges “very soon.”

The DA is also consulting with legal experts to see if murder charges would stick, the insider continues.

Gordon, 25, has been accused of wrongful death in an amended lawsuit filed by Brown’s conservator, Bedelia Hargrove.

In the lawsuit, which seeks at least $10 million in damages, Gordon is accused of giving Brown a “toxic cocktail” the night of January 31, which left her “unconscious” and ultimately led to her July 26 death at age 22.

Gordon is also accused of beating Brown, the daughter of singer Bobby Brown, and withdrawing funds from her accounts.

“We will leave no stone unturned in seeking justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown,” Hargrove said in a statement in July.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed last month that the cause of Brown’s death has been officially determined, however the findings have been ordered sealed by a judge.

Brown’s death has been treated as a criminal investigation since she was hospitalized and put into a medically induced coma after being found face down in a bathtub in her Atlanta-area home on January 31.

Meanwhile, Gordon has maintained his innocence.

After an interview with Dr. Phil in April, Gordon checked himself into rehab and has since been residing in Florida.

"The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family," Gordon’s mom Michelle said in a statement following Brown’s death. "Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they've been apart. Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time."
