Nollywood actress, Biodun Okeowo Sofuyi has denied claims that she has a hidden business financier, who set up her recently launched beauty parlour and cosmetics store in Lagos, Nigeria.

The actress recently denied the claims in a chat with The Punch saying the rumour is baseless as she neither has a politician or any moneybag not to talk of investor in her businesses.

In the words of the star, 'Can they just tell me the name of the politician because I don’t even have any politician as a friend. People are just peddling carry such rumours, no politician sponsored me to open the shop. I financed it from my sweat. And there is this belief in Yoruba that if you do a business from your own sweat, it will be more beneficial and profitable. So, it’s a rumour.'
