A Los Angeles judge dismissed Indio Downey's cocaine case after he submitted proof he had successfully completed a drug diversion program at a court house on Tuesday, March 8.
The dismissal comes 2 months after California Governor Jerry Brown gave Downey Jr.a full pardon for his drug convictions.
"I would like to say I am truly grateful for the experience I had over the last 20 months in recovery," Indio spoke to Judge Lauren Weis Birnstein in open court, adding that "I'm so blessed to have my life back. I hope to be an inspiration to work with others in the future."
As we earlier reported, Indio was arrested in June 2014 in West Hollywood when cops drove alongside the vehicle in which he was riding and noticed he was smoking something out of a pipe. Cops found coke on the actor's son.
The dismissal erases the entire criminal case as though Indio was never even arrested, TMZ reports
