Duncan Mighty, Ushbebe are a year older

In eight years, Duncan Mighty has built a name for himself in both Nigerian music and politics.

The 'Port Harcourt son’ is one of the biggest artists from the south south region of Nigeria. In spite of his status, Mighty remains secluded in the industry.

The star whose real name is Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu started his music career in 2008 when he released his debut single ‘Koliwater’. From playing the drums in a band for Benson & Hedges to studying audio engineering he's made a name for himself in the country and across the continent and worked with the likes of Terry G, Cobhams Asuquo and even Wyclef Jean.

The success of singles ‘Obianuju’, and ‘Port Harcourt Son’ made him a bonafide star.

With his huge following, the star has managed to influence government-citizen engagement in Rivers state.

On September 16, 2016, Duncan Mighty released his fifth studio album titled “Certificate”.

Today is also comedian Ushbebe’s birthday.

The performer whose real name is Justice Emonaerere Nuagbe studied Theatre Arts at the Delta State University Abraka.

Before getting hit with the comedy bug, Ushbebe was a banker. From banking, he switch to a career in television where he was a presenter on ‘The Ay Show’.
