The holiday is almost here, and we want you to have a blast. Before you say pulse didn’t do anything for you, here are some movies you don’t want to ‘carryover’ this December. 1. Muna This is a story of a spirited girl in search of a better life for her grandmother; who happens to be her only surviving relative. She is robbed of her innocence in the process and the once sweet girl becomes a cold vengeful woman out for blood. But she found love on the mission and everything changed. Muna is expected out in December 6, 2019. The movie directed by Kevin Nwankwor, features stars like Adesua Etomi- Wellington, Onyeka Onwenu, Falz among others. 2. Your Excellency The movie highlights the power of social media and how it can be used to capture the imagination of a nation. ‘Your Excellency’ tells the story of chief Ajadi and his wife. An unlikely candidate who decides to run for President, how he was able to intrigue the public and bring about a change in mindset.The movie directed by Funke Akindele is expected in the cinemas on December 13, 2019 and features top notch actors like Funke Akindele-Bello, Akin Lewis, Shaffy Bello, Deyemi Okanlawon, Osas Ighodaro, Seyilaw, Kemi Lala Akindoju among others. 3. Merry Men 2 If you thought Merry Men 1 was a hit, then you haven’t seen nothing yet. Because Merry Men 2, is a blockbuster! In Merry men 2, Our three ‘Royal Yoruba Demons’; Amaju Abioritsegbemi, Ayo Alesinloye and Naz Okigbo meet their match in kenya and other new ladies who are bent on making them pay! Will they pay? Find out on December 15, 2019. The movie directed by Toka McBaror, features stars like AY Makun, Ramsey Nouah, Regina Daniels, Iretiola Doyle, Alex Asogwa, Jim Iyke, Falz, Nancy Isime, Ufuoma McDermott, Linda Osifo, Damilola Adegbite among others. 4. Kpali A young Nigerian investment banker is given a 30 days ultimatum to secure a resident permit (Kpali) in the U.K or face the consequence which might include disappointment or deportation. Will he meet up with the deadline? Find out on December 20, 2019. The movie directed by Emem Ema, Ladipo Johnson features stars like Ini Dima-Okojie, Nkem Owoh, Gloria Anozie-Young, Linda Ejiofor, Kunle Remi, Uzor Arukwe, Seyilaw, Kunle ‘Abounce’ Fawole, and Linda Ejiofor- Sulaiman among others. 5. Sugar Rush As they say Awoof dey run belle, well for these three ladies, it run more than belle, it got the EFCC on their tail. Three young ladies found a total sum of $800,000 and decided to spend it all. The money is later found out to be the loot of some internet fraudsters and the ladies have the EFCC and a ring of criminals on their heels. The movie, directed by Kayode Kasum, is expected in the cinemas on December 25, 2019, and stars Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Bisola Aiyeola, Omoni Oboli, Tobi Bakre, Mawuli Gavour, Banky W, Adedimeji Lateef, Uzor Arukwe among others.
