The video footage showed the man engage the pair in a conversation, when suddenly one of them hit him in the face.

As he was trying to retaliate against the first attacker, the other girl hits him in the back. He falls off helplessly in a bid to take a swing at them.

A Facebook user, Ja'Meeka Price posted the video online with the comments:

"This is the video of the kids from Cocoran High School who assaulted this old man. I have given it to the local Syracuse news & police who I hope will get justice for this man.. this is sad, ignorant & disgusting! Please share in hopes that it lands in the right hands & these children are held accountable!! #JUSTICEforHIM."

According to reports, the unidentified elderly man had asked the girls to get off his property before the drama ensued.

The Syracuse High School detectives have reportedly arrested the pair who have been charged with assault in the third degree.
