With these changes, its become increasingly obvious that Apple is doing everything it can to retain its place as the smartphone market giant. The American company has been facing aggressive competition from its South Korean rival, Samsung more so since the launch of Samsung's new phone series which saw Samsung surpassing Apple in smartphone sales for the first time since the iphone 5 was launched. While Samsung maintains a slight edge over Apple at the moment, it remains to be seen how long they'll hold this position for especially as they recently lost $12 billion in market shares barely a few weeks after the launch of the Galaxy S4.
Also, with Apple set to launch a range of medium and high-ranged phones in September and with the introduction of iphone trade-ins, it should be interesting to see who emerges victorious in the never-ending competition between Apple and Samsung.
So, whose side are you on? #team Apple or #team Samsung?
