Woman arrested for putting 2-yr-old daughter in an oven

Police were called to a home on Thursday to a child with burns, according to Somervell County Sheriff’s Office.

Tasha Hatcher, 35 told her neighbours she’d put her child in the oven.

Witnesses told police that Hatcher had told them.

Hatcher was charged with injury to a child with serious bodily injury and arrested on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for Texas Child Protective Services, Marissa Gonzales, said the child has been taken into their custody and will be placed in foster care when released from the hospital.
