Celebrity Websites: Necessary or Just A Fad?

Celebrities have taken up this trend and have decided to create an online personality for themselves. Many celebrities have facebook pages and twitter handles where they can be communicated with directly . The recent trend that seems to be gaining waves is website owning. Stars and individuals in the limelight have taken to having their own sites which gives you an insight into their daily lives, pictures of themselves and activities that they are involved in. Many celebs have joined the train; some just for work purposes and others to interact with and engage their fans.

1. Tolu 'Toolz' Oniru, OAP Beat FM

Daughter to the prestigious Oniru family, Tolu 'Toolz' Oniru is know for being an On Air Personality and her bootylicious body. She recently launched a website, www.toolzo.net and she says it came from the need to have an online persona where people could get information about her and lifestyle nuggets.

2. Monalisa Chinda, Nollywood actress

Monalisa Chinda is an actress whose looks have given the brothers something to think about. She recently launched her website,www.monalisachindatv.com to further her brand. The actress has been connected to a few foundation especially with her autism project.

3. Stephanie Linus Idahosa, Nollywood actress and Face of Kanekalon 

Stephanie Idahosa is a former Nollywood darling who tied the knot with her beau Linus Idahosa. The pretty actress and former beauty queen is a fan favorite and has set up a website so fans can keep up with her.

4. MI Abaga, Rap Artist and Face of 7 days Snack.

M.I or Mr. Incredible is an ace rapper who is a favourite of many. The rapper launched his website and it features the best of music and lifestyle for music lovers. The site was launched in April 2012 and has since then supplied fans with up to date content about the rapper.

5. Ini Edo, Actress and Shoe Line Designer

Nollywood diva and now shoe line owner, this diva is set to take over. Ini Edo has two websites, one for her acting career, www.iniedosworld.com, which has been on the low for a while and her shoe line which she launched recently at the Dallas International Fashion Week.

6. Mo'Cheddah, Rap artist 

The past few months have been big ones for this flirty little star, Mo' Cheddah whose songs always have us gyrating to the beat. She has blossomed from to a young woman before our very eyes. The star recently graduated from the University of Lagos and also left the management that she's been working with, Knighthouse. She is running solo and seems to be loving every moment of it. Her site www.mocheddahmusic.com is evidence to prove.
