Genevieve Nnaji spotted smiling with her fans at the Toronto Film Festival

Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji was spotted having a great time and smiling at her fans at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The thespian was in attendance at the highly anticipated premiere of her movie I Do Not Come To You By Chance and was recorded going down an escalator. The event was held in Toronto Canada and as soon as Nnaji spotted the camera, she gave a heart-melting and dashing smile, then waved at her fans. She also took time out to take a picture with a fan.

Genevieve was also seen having a swell time with her friend model Oluchi Onweagba-Orlandi in Italy in mid-August 2023 in the pictures posted to Oluchi's Instagram, the actress lounged by the pool with her friends smiling happily.

Though the actress has been under the radar since the end of 2022, she has not been idle. Behind the scenes, she had been hard at work on her movie that just premiered. The feature film is co-produced by Chinny Carter and Chioma Onyenwe, and the script was written by the talented duo, Chika Anadu and Ishaya Bako. This is said to be her first official appearance in 2023 and her first movie after five years away.

Her fans continue to heave heavy sighs of relief seeing their fave enjoying herself since her hiatus from social media. During the time, she was said to have been struggling with her mental health and had deleted all her Instagram posts and unfollowed everyone after posting a somewhat cryptic post that made her fans worried.

However, she appeared as a guest speaker at the 2022 edition of the Creative Africa Nexus in November. She also popped on Twitter for her birthday in May 2023 to post a picture and acknowledge birthday messages.

Now she is returning to the Nollywood scene and the news has been well received by her fans, fellow celebrities and well-wishers, celebrities and well-wishers.
